As usual, the service is exceptional. Adam showed up at the appointed time and he performed the yearly check/up of my generator with expertise and a vast knowledge of the product. He found that a bolt had come loose and would have to be repaired. He fixed the problem and everything is working perfectly. I am confident that my generator is in good hands with Premier. I made the right choice!

A Signed Quote and Deposit Should Mean SomethingI rarely leave one-star reviews, but my experience with Premier Energy Solutions warrants one.I requested a quote for a mini-split system for my home in Dennis, MA. After receiving the quote, I reviewed it verbally with the salesperson to confirm its accuracy and signed it within a week. I was then called and asked to provide a deposit by phone, which I did immediately.Approximately two hours after providing the deposit, I received a text notifying me that a “revised” quote was ready. The new price was more than 10% higher than the quote I had just signed. I then checked my email and found a message from the salesperson explaining that there had been a software glitch and that the original quote had been generated in error. Attached was yet another quote—this one more than 20% higher than the price I had signed and provided a deposit against.I contacted the General Manager the following day. To his credit, he acknowledged that the errors were theirs and told me they would honor the original price. He explained that an internal specialist would review the project, properly document everything, and send me a corrected quote reflecting the original agreed-upon price within two days.That did not happen.On the third day, the salesperson called and told me the errors were larger than they had anticipated and that they would need to increase the price after all. I contacted the GM again, and he retracted his commitment to honor the original price.I raised the issue that we had a signed agreement, they had accepted my deposit, and questioned whether we had a binding contract. His response was essentially, “Why would you want us working on your home if you had to take legal action to get the deal?” I am paraphrasing because I do not recall his exact words, but that accurately reflects the substance of the response.At that point, I requested my deposit back, and Premier Energy Solutions did refund it.Mistakes happen. A salesperson can make an estimating error, software can create problems, and companies sometimes discover unexpected costs. My one-star review is not because an error occurred. It is because of how the company handled the error after I had signed the quote and paid the requested deposit.What was particularly disappointing was that the GM initially took responsibility, explicitly committed to honoring the original price, and then reversed that commitment after another internal review. From a customer’s perspective, I went from an accepted quote, to a 10%+ increase, to a 20%+ increase, to a management commitment to honor the original price, and finally back to being told the price would have to increase.I subsequently came across several older five-star reviews that specifically mentioned the company's founder, Paul Foley, and the level of service he provided. Based on the customer service described in those reviews, I suspect he would be disappointed by how this situation was handled today.Premier Energy Solutions did return my deposit, and I want to be fair in acknowledging that. But when I select a contractor for a significant investment in my home, I need confidence that a signed quote, an accepted deposit, and a commitment made directly by senior management can be relied upon. Unfortunately, my experience with Premier Energy Solutions did not provide that confidence.

I had a yearly maintenance and check up on my Kohler generator today with the technician ,Kevin Mulligan.After the recent power outage for 8 hours, Kevin demonstrated how to check the oil and reviewed the proper steps of adding the oil. Last year he had made some updates on the generator. He actually showed me what he was inspecting. He assured me that the generator was in good working order and ready for the next storm. At the completion of his visit, he presented a box of chocolates from the staff at Premier Energy Services and wished us Happy Holidays. Premier is the best in service and communication.

We had our whole house generator installed with Premier Energy. The initial consultation was excellent - Tim walked us through every step of the process and answered all of our questions. Communication has been easy with them, too. Coordinating installation was just as easy, and Ethan was excellent at showing us the ins and outs of our new generator. Kevin managed the project, and was always updating us on what we should expect, dates, etc. We can't say enough good things about Premier!

We contracted with Premier Energy Solutions to install a large, 22kw Generac generator at our Cape Cod home. We are older people and a priority for us is having a dependable, well maintained home emergency power source. Their sales rep Tim was professional and on time for his appointment to identify the correct size, type and installation location of a generator. Each part of the installation process was on time with knowledgable workers who left site neat and safe. Once work was finalized a rep confirmed an appointment with us to demonstrate how to use the unit. Everything was thoroughly explained and demonstrated. Very professional. We are very happy with the entire process. They made it easy for us.

Horrible. Their salesman Tim Proulx sent me an estimate that increased the cost of the generator I wanted by 50% by secretly adding a 10-year warranty without telling me. He never mentioned it - and we never even discussed it. - he just added it to the price without telling me. When I questioned why it cost so much he said that the generator I wanted only comes with a 10-year warranty. Another lie. I found many other places online selling that same generator for so much less and with a 3-year warranty. I would not recommend using this place and for God's sake don't meet with this salesman Tim. He is deceptive, dishonest and sleazy. NOT TRUSTWORTHY.

Project was right on schedule, friendly people, job site was always left neat and tidy, even with all the trenching that needed to be done! And very reasonable pricing.
