Pre-Installation and Project Preparation
Once your deposit has been paid, a Premier representative will contact you to schedule a Pre-Installation Visit. This visit ensures our field team is fully prepared for your installation and helps set clear expectations.
During this visit, a Premier representative will:
● Mark and define the location of all equipment- subject to OEM and Town specifications
● Identify the path for wiring and piping (basement, garage, or other areas).
● Review any details that could affect installation.
Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and efficient installation, please:
● Clear all work areas, including the electrical panel, water main, and generator location.
● Remove storage, debris, shelving, or other obstacles from these spaces.
● Clear the path for wiring and piping as determined during the Pre-Installation Visit.
● Ensure parking availability — our team will arrive with at least two trucks and a trailer.
Trenching and Yard Restoration
When trenching or excavation is required:
● Premier will submit a DigSafe work order before digging begins.
● Weather (freezing temperatures, heavy rain, or snow) may delay trenching or restoration for safety and site protection. If this occurs, Premier will keep you informed.
● In some cases, site restoration may be postponed to preserve landscaping.
Important Considerations
● Irrigation lines are not covered under DigSafe and are often shallow. While our team will attempt repairs if damage occurs, Premier is not responsible for irrigation repairs or related costs. Customers may need to contact an irrigation professional.
● Customers must notify Premier of any known underground objects (irrigation, drainage, pool equipment, electrical, etc.).
● For safety, please ensure pets are restrained during installation and the area is free of their waste.
Natural Gas Customers
● Premier will submit a gas load form to your gas utility provider on your behalf.
● The utility provider determines completely whether additional provisions are required.
● Any costs resulting from utility company requirements are the customer’s responsibility.
Additional Work and Conditions
● If additional work is required by the town or other authority (beyond what is listed in Premier’s estimate), the customer is responsible for those costs.
● If unforeseen conditions are discovered (e.g., damaged or corroded electrical components such as meters or panels), our team will notify you immediately.
● Repairs will be completed for safety reasons.
● Premier will aim to minimize costs, but all repair costs remain the customer’s responsibility.
